Core Purpose
Execute safe maintenance and repair of underground electrical systems using approved work orders and protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety Compliance:
- Follow all SHEQ guidelines and isolation procedures
- Conduct risk assessments in work areas
Operational Excellence:
- Perform maintenance per work order specifications
- Document work history and equipment status
- Diagnose electrical faults using approved methods
- Maintain compliance with MHSA regulations
Equipment Management:
- Address breakdowns efficiently
- Manage rotable components and spare parts
Requirements
- Grade 12/N2 certification
- Section 13 Electrical Trade Certificate
- High Voltage Certification (mandatory)
- 5 years’ practical electrical maintenance experience
- Medical clearance for mine work
