Role Purpose
Perform safe maintenance and repair of Trackless Mobile Machinery using approved work procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain safety standards per legal requirements
- Implement proper lockout/isolation procedures
- Identify and mitigate workplace hazards
Equipment Maintenance
- Execute preventive maintenance per work orders
- Document maintenance history accurately
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electric, and engine systems (under 100V)
- Manage component replacements and rotable parts
Operations Support
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns
- Provide technical feedback to supervisors
- Maintain repair documentation
Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12/N2 plus trade certification
- 5+ years maintenance experience
- Medical clearance for mining operations
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
