Introduction

An exciting opportunity as a DC Reach Truck Driver has become available at New Clicks SA (Pty) Ltd. This role will be based in Mahogany Ridge DC and will report to the DC Supervisor.

Job Description

Putaways

  • Retrieve the correct pallet from the designated receiving door.
  • Stage the pallet in the correct drop point.
  • Put away (slot) the pallet in the correct slot location (pick and/or reserve slot).

Letdowns / Smoves

  • Retrieve the correct stock and quantities from the reserve slots.
  • Retrieve the correct stock and quantities from the Cantilevers.
  • Drop the let-down stock in the correct pick slots or drop points.

Housekeeping

  • Ensure everyone’s safety.
  • Reduce illnesses and injuries.
  • Promote positive behaviours, habits, and attitudes.
  • Maintain general cleanliness at all times.
  • Take pride in the workplace.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid Reach Truck operator certification/license.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience operating a Reach Truck, preferably in FMCG or warehouse environments.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols and health regulations.
  • Ability to read and understand labels and dispatch documents.
  • Good physical condition and ability to lift/move heavy loads when required.
  • Matric/Grade 12.
  • Clean criminal record.
