Core Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Contribute to organizational strategy development
- Manage department budgets and resource allocation
- Oversee project implementation and progress reporting
- Develop operational policies and standard procedures
External Partner Coordination
- Facilitate collaboration with SALGA and SAPS
- Manage service agreements and payment processes
- Coordinate intergovernmental partnerships
Legal & Tribunal Management
- Direct tribunal operations including scheduling and case management
- Supervise legal documentation processes
- Oversee compliance monitoring of tribunal decisions
- Manage appeals tribunal proceedings
Policy & Governance
- Lead legislative amendment initiatives
- Conduct evidence-based policy research
- Ensure regulatory compliance across operations
Operational Oversight
- Manage licensing approval processes
- Supervise case prosecution workflows
- Implement performance tracking systems
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Laws degree (NQF 7)
- 5+ years senior management experience
- Public sector strategic planning background
- Proven project management skills
- Experience with governance boards (preferred)
