Core Responsibilities
- 🗓️ Perform daily lifeguard duties at assigned beaches
- 🌊 Conduct water rescues and emergency first aid
- 🚤 Assist with power craft operations (IRB/Jet Ski)
- 📝 Complete mandatory training programs
- 👮 Maintain professional conduct and service standards
Physical Requirements
- 💪 Pass quarterly fitness tests including swimming assessments
- 👁️ Meet vision/hearing standards
- 🏥 Clear annual medical examination
Required Qualifications
- 📘 Matric certificate
- 🏊 Valid Lifeguard Certification (current retest)
- 🩺 Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or obtain within 6 months)
- ⏳ 1 year surf lifesaving experience
Preferred Skills
- 🚗 Valid driver’s license
- 🚤 IRB Crewman Certification
- 🌅 18+ months beach safety experience
