Role Purpose:

Support library operations through resource management, service delivery, and community engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage library administration tasks
  • Assist with information retrieval services
  • Maintain and develop book collections
  • Support reading programs and educational activities
  • Operate library management systems

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certification (Matric)
  • Basic computer literacy
  • 6+ months relevant experience (library environment preferred)
  • Willingness to undergo criminal record check
  • Familiarity with SirsiDynix Symphony system advantageous
