Position Details:

- Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree/Matric
- Experience: 2-3 years in public library environment
- Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape
- Field: ICT & Computer Services
Required Qualifications:
- 4-year post-matric qualification in Library Science (B.Bibl/B.LIS/B.Tech or equivalent)
- Current LIASA membership
- Computer proficiency
- Understanding of public library operations
Key Competencies:
- Supervisory skills & staff management
- Library ICT systems knowledge
- Budget management & procurement processes
- Marketing and research capabilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage branch library operations
- Coordinate material circulation and information services
- Create learning-friendly environments through displays
- Handle administrative reporting and record maintenance
