Position Details:

Employment Type: Full Time
Education Requirement: Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
Experience Needed: Minimum 5 years post-admission litigation experience
Location: Gauteng Province
Sector: Legal/Regulatory Compliance

Required Qualifications:

  • Active attorney license with valid practice certification
  • Proven civil litigation experience from legal practice
  • Demonstrated understanding of regulatory frameworks (credit industry experience preferred)
  • Experience appearing before tribunals and various court levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex litigation matters through all judicial levels including Constitutional Court
  • Prepare and present cases at National Consumer Tribunal and other legal forums
  • Develop legal strategies for enforcement actions based on investigation findings
  • Create comprehensive legal documents and pleadings
  • Conduct regulatory compliance research and analysis
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external legal partners
