Position Details:
Employment Type: Full Time
Education Requirement: Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
Experience Needed: Minimum 5 years post-admission litigation experience
Location: Gauteng Province
Sector: Legal/Regulatory Compliance
Required Qualifications:
- Active attorney license with valid practice certification
- Proven civil litigation experience from legal practice
- Demonstrated understanding of regulatory frameworks (credit industry experience preferred)
- Experience appearing before tribunals and various court levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex litigation matters through all judicial levels including Constitutional Court
- Prepare and present cases at National Consumer Tribunal and other legal forums
- Develop legal strategies for enforcement actions based on investigation findings
- Create comprehensive legal documents and pleadings
- Conduct regulatory compliance research and analysis
- Coordinate with internal teams and external legal partners
