Requirements

  • Matric certificate
  • LLB degree (NQF Level 7)
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant legal experience after qualification

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage litigation processes for MEC and Department leadership
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses
  • Draft/review legal documents and opinions
  • Advise departmental units on legal strategy
  • Coordinate with State Attorney’s Office
  • Provide legal guidance to junior staff
  • Maintain legal resource library
