Position Details

Job Type: Full Time
Location: Free State
Experience: 2-3 years minimum
Salary: R28,310.00 per month (T11/1)

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
• National Diploma/NQF Level 6 in relevant field
• Valid Code B driver’s license
• Experience in Local Economic Development
• Understanding of local government legislation
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Clean criminal record

Key Responsibilities

• Implement LED/Rural Development projects aligned with IDP objectives
• Conduct economic research for development planning
• Support SMME programs and business opportunities
• Coordinate LED strategies and resource allocation
• Facilitate community engagement for development initiatives
• Advise entrepreneurs and job seekers on opportunities
