About the Role
We seek a qualified professional to deliver practical and theoretical training in agricultural practices, focusing on animal production. This position plays a key role in developing future agricultural professionals through quality education.
Essential Requirements
- 4-year BSc degree or higher in Agriculture (Animal Production)
- 3 years’ practical experience in animal production
- Valid driver’s license (Code B or higher) – exceptions considered for applicants with disabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- AgriSETA Assessor/Moderator certification
- Experience in both plant and animal production training
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and present course materials for theoretical and practical sessions
- Create and update training content and study guides
- Design assessments and evaluate student performance
- Maintain current knowledge of agricultural trends and policies
- Handle administrative tasks related to course delivery
Required Skills
- Expertise in animal production systems
- Strong communication abilities (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in digital tools and learning platforms
- Effective organizational and leadership capabilities
- Experience in formal training delivery
