Learnership Programme Opportunity

Program Type: 1-Year Contract (National Certificate in Water & Waste Water Treatment NQF Level 2)

Locations: North East Region (Richards Bay & Jozini Water Treatment Plants)

Program Overview

This learnership combines classroom instruction with hands-on experience in water treatment operations. Successful candidates will:

  • Complete theoretical coursework and practical training
  • Develop a Portfolio of Evidence (POE)
  • Participate in plant operations at designated facilities

Candidate Requirements

  • Matric certificate with Mathematics & Physical Science
  • Currently unemployed (age 35 or younger)
  • Resident of uMkhanyakude or uMzinto District Municipalities
  • Valid South African ID
  • Proof of rural residence (Traditional Authority Office confirmation required)
