L&D Manager: Commerce

Position Details

  • Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in HRD/HRM/Industrial Psychology
  • Experience Needed: 8+ years (Minimum 5 years in Learning & Development)
  • Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
  • Department: Human Resources

Key Responsibilities

Learning & Development:

  • Identify organizational training needs and design blended learning solutions
  • Align programs with competency frameworks and business objectives
  • Develop functional training solutions for technical departments
  • Facilitate HR processes and people management training
  • Manage L&D budget and compliance controls

Performance & Reporting:

  • Track training participation metrics and budget utilization
  • Produce comprehensive reports for leadership review

Candidate Requirements

  • Certification in Education & Training (Assessor/Modulator preferred)
  • 3+ years L&D management experience in Commerce (Sales/Marketing)
  • Proven success in designing leadership development programs
  • Experience with digital learning platforms and e-learning systems
  • Working knowledge of BBBEE and SETA compliance
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
