Position Purpose

Support land use management initiatives by contributing to sustainable development planning and agricultural land rezoning processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3-year National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, Agriculture, or Town Planning
  • 3 years’ experience in land use planning and agricultural resource management
  • Valid Code B driver’s license (accommodations available for applicants with transportation limitations)

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSc Degree in relevant field (NQF Level 7+)
  • Experience with land use legislation and spatial development frameworks
  • Proficiency in agricultural resource evaluation and EIA processes
  • Skills in GIS/ArcView and drone operation (VLOS certification advantageous)
  • Knowledge of crop systems, irrigation management, and soil science
