About the Role:
Join our team maintaining plant biodiversity through advanced tissue culture techniques. Three positions available for detail-oriented candidates in agricultural research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sterile plant tissue cultivation and sub-culturing
- Maintain accurate specimen labeling and tracking systems
- Prepare growth media and maintain laboratory equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and cleanliness standards
- Assist with data collection and documentation
- Support laboratory maintenance and visitor preparation
Requirements:
- Grade 10 certificate (Grade 12 advantageous)
- 1-2 years’ lab experience (plant tissue culture preferred)
- Basic understanding of laboratory operations
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- Physical capability for repetitive laboratory tasks
