Job Type: Contract (Fixed Term)
Education: Matric/NQF Level 4 (N3 Certificate preferred)
Experience: 2-3 years laboratory experience
Location: Emalahleni, Mpumalanga
Field: Science/Laboratory Operations
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Safety:
- Conduct sample collection and wet laboratory analysis
- Monitor safety compliance and report hazards
- Maintain laboratory equipment and chemical stock levels
- Record production data and flowmeter readings
Quality Assurance:
- Identify and report non-conforming test results
- Follow standardized analytical procedures
- Maintain accurate shift logs and documentation
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics/Science
- Valid manual driver’s license (advantageous)
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in English
- Knowledge of lab safety protocols
- Experience with hazardous waste disposal
