Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full Time
• Education Requirement: Matric/NQF 4 (Mathematics & Science required)
• Experience: 2+ years in analytical laboratory environment
• Location: Vereeniging, Gauteng
• Department: Scientific Services

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
• Familiarity with sample preparation and handling protocols
• Competence in basic chemical analysis procedures
• Understanding of lab safety standards and hazardous material handling

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage sample processing using LIMS-Labware system
• Prepare testing materials and maintain lab equipment
• Conduct basic water quality tests (Dissolved Oxygen, MBAS)
• Implement proper waste disposal and chemical safety protocols
• Maintain sterile lab conditions through systematic cleaning processes
• Support technical staff with daily operational requirements
