Job Description

• As a Lab Assistant, you play a key role in supporting the accuracy and quality of our diagnostic services. Your daily tasks include preparing specimens carefully, keeping the laboratory clean and safe, and ensuring smooth operations. Role Requirements

• To be considered, you must have completed Grade 12.
• You must be registered with the HPCSA as a Laboratory Assistant.
• At least two years of experience in a pathology laboratory is required. This experience prepares you to work in a busy setting where attention to detail and reliability are essential. At Ampath, your skills will be valued and developed through targeted training for future growth.

Skills Requirements

• You need good communication skills in English to work well with your team and maintain a positive environment. You should also be able to do basic math for accurate specimen handling and administrative tasks. These skills help you succeed in a role that demands precision and teamwork.
