Position Details
Position: Lab Assistant (ICT/Computer & Science)
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Eastern Cape, South Africa
Experience Level: Entry Level (0-3 years)
Minimum Requirements
- NCV Level 4 in Information Technology or equivalent
- Diploma in IT (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license (unendorsed)
- Certifications: CompTIA N+, A+ or Microsoft Professional (preferred)
- Basic hardware troubleshooting skills
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain computer workstations/network systems
- Install/configue software and peripheral devices
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues
- Maintain equipment inventory and place orders
- Train users on computer literacy skills
- Support K-5 educational programs in technology usage
