Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Kitchen Operations Supervisor or Kitchen Processor to join our team in Cape Town, Epping. You will manage daily kitchen operations, follow company policies, and keep high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

• Fill chemical spray bottles and red buckets, and use disinfectants correctly.
• Prioritize same-day deliveries.
• Report equipment problems, customer complaints, and new product details to the department head.
• Update the production board and handover book.
• Check kitchen cleaning and sanitation of all utensils and equipment after each shift.
• Always tell the department head about new product specifications.
• Hand over any shortages to the next shift supervisor or department head before leaving.
• Post the updated production board, handover book, and ensure cleaned and scrubbed kitchen drains and equipment after each shift.

Quality Control

• Cut products to exact specifications.
• Clean and blend vegetables for purees.
• Squeeze cold-pressed juices.
• Wash and devein spinach to company standards.
• Pack and seal salad packets.

Administrative

• Keep accurate records of time and attendance.
• Follow company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in kitchen operations or warehouse management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation rules.
• Basic understanding of inventory management.

Salary

R5,500 per month
