Junior Packing and Logistics Assistant (Freeze Dried Products) Jobs

Job Role:

• Support the Logistics, Packing, and Production teams by handling freeze-dried product orders and stock accurately. This includes correct labelling, packing, documentation, and dispatch.
• This is a flexible “floater” role. You will provide hands-on help across departments during busy times, staff shortages, or urgent tasks. The role suits a team-oriented, proactive person who enjoys variety and helping wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Label pouches for product packaging. Make sure labels are straight, clean, correct, and match the batch or product.
• Pack freeze-dried product orders accurately using pick sheets and order lists.
• Pack securely to avoid crushing, breakage, or moisture during transit.
• Apply waybills or courier labels to the right orders and check destinations.
• Stage completed orders neatly for collection and help with courier handovers.
• Assist with regular stock counts for finished goods and packaging materials.
• Support accurate stock movements (in and out) and keep storage areas neat.
• Rotate stock using FIFO or FEFO principles when needed.
• Step in to help with other tasks, such as:
• Assisting in the kitchen or production during busy prep or cooking times.
• Supporting the packing line.
• Performing cleaning or housekeeping tasks.
• Handling rework or sorting tasks.
• Providing any urgent support requested by management.
• Work well with all teams and adapt to changing priorities.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and PPE rules at all times.
• Keep packing, labelling, and storage areas clean and ready for audits.
