Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Minimum Education: Matric + Relevant Degree (NQF 7 in Economics/Finance)
• Experience Required: 3-5 years in investment appraisal or economic research
• Location: Gauteng
• Department: Finance & Project Management

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in economic analysis and financial modeling
• Understanding of infrastructure sector dynamics and policy impacts
• Strong research capabilities with policy analysis skills
• Proficiency in quantitative analysis tools and project evaluation

Core Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Project Analysis:

• Evaluate financial viability and economic impact of infrastructure proposals
• Develop assessment models for fiscal, environmental, and social impacts
• Provide strategic recommendations on project implementation

2. Research & Development:

• Conduct sector-specific research on infrastructure trends
• Develop improved appraisal methodologies
• Contribute to policy development discussions

3. Strategic Monitoring:

• Analyze national infrastructure priorities and economic impacts
• Maintain performance benchmarking databases
• Track implementation progress of key projects

Essential Competencies:

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication for technical reporting
• Team collaboration and project coordination abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
