Job Purpose:
The Senior Administration Officer will coordinate and oversee the Administrative Branch’s operations, ensuring the department meets its financial, governance, and compliance goals. This includes evaluating current procedures, improving systems and processes, managing short-term human and financial resources, and ensuring the department’s overall compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Prioritization: Align key functions of the office to address priorities and ensure efficient operations.
- Performance Planning: Evaluate, amend, and ensure timely submission of Performance Plans and supporting evidence for each financial year.
- Financial Management: Prepare capital and operating estimates for the office, coordinate the implementation of financial controls, and support financial planning.
- Human Resources Support: Manage human resource needs, implement supportive processes, and monitor service quality.
- Fleet and Asset Management: Oversee the management and control of procedural and operational processes related to fleet and asset management.
- Administrative Coordination: Implement and coordinate administrative processes to ensure service levels and procedural efficiency.
- Reporting: Manage the reporting requirements and deadlines associated with the branch’s functions.

Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Diploma (NQF Level 6) in the Administrative field or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in administration.
- Additional Requirement: Valid motor vehicle driving license.
Preferred Requirements:
- Education: Degree (NQF Level 7) in the Administrative field or equivalent.
- Experience: 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Compensation and Benefits:
