Job Summary

ANEW Hotel Parktonian is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Manager to manage the F&B department, ensuring customer satisfaction, efficiency, and financial performance. This role requires creating a great first impression, exceeding customer expectations through excellent service, and maintaining high standards across all food and beverage outlets.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Matric (Hospitality Certificate or Hospitality Management Diploma will be advantageous).
• Experience: At least 5 years in the hospitality industry at a 4-star property.
  • Minimum 18 months of management or supervisory experience.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Food and Beverage operations.
  • High level of customer service, numeracy, and cost control.
  • Organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (IsiZulu and/or IsiXhosa would be an advantage).
  • Time management and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Opera and Micros (Point of Sales).
• Attributes: High degree of self-motivation, ambition, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Accountable for achieving budgeted revenue for the F&B outlets.
• Responsible for the department’s financial performance and long-term sustainability.
• Ensure guest satisfaction is consistently achieved and maintained.
• Manage and maintain staffing levels across the F&B outlets.
• Oversee revenue control and financial management, ensuring cost efficiency.
• Ensure excellent knowledge and use of Opera and Micros systems for POS operations.
