Job Summary
The Finance Administrator will provide an efficient, accurate, and effective finance transactional recording service. Additionally, the candidate will participate in division-wide initiatives, contributing expertise and knowledge within the finance department.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Required: Grade 12 and finance-related certificates
- Ideal: Diploma in Finance or Bookkeeping
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in finance clerical roles and general finance-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Department:
- Reconcile cashbooks and petty cash.
- Reconcile debit orders and administer cell phone contracts and claims.
- Reconcile transactions with travel agencies.
Finance Administration:
- Process invoices, debit orders, payments, including claims and international payments.
- Process payments through the Nedbank Business website.
- Process cashbook, petty cash, and credit card transactions.
- Allocate payments to creditors and debtors.
Finance Audits:
- Provide backup support to other finance team members.
- Assist with finance audits as required.
Ad-hoc Duties:
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.
