Eskom is seeking a highly skilled Engineer Professional to join its team in Margate. This role involves providing engineering designs and technical solutions within the distribution sector, ensuring that Eskom’s infrastructure and assets are maintained to high standards.

Key Responsibilities

As an Engineer Professional, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Executing engineering design work in line with Eskom’s standards.
  • Contributing to the integrity and optimization of the company’s asset base.
  • Delivering standardized outputs to ensure efficiency and consistency.
  • Performing technical studies to evaluate the operational and maintenance needs.
  • Consulting on discipline-related issues, providing expert advice as needed.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Qualifications: A BSc/BEng in Engineering at NQF 8 level with 480 credits.
  • Professional Registration: Registered as a candidate engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ technical experience, particularly in engineering-related technologies.
