Position Details

  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Finance/Commerce). Postgraduate/MBA/CFA/CA(SA) preferred
  • Experience: 2-3 years in investment management
  • Location: Eastern Cape, South Africa
  • Certification: FAIS RE 05 required (or obtain within 6 months)

Key Requirements

  • Experience in private equity or multi-manager environments
  • Strong sector/industry research capabilities
  • Proficient in financial analysis and deal evaluation
  • Knowledge of transaction structuring and pricing

Core Responsibilities

  • Evaluate investment opportunities and prepare scoping reports
  • Support due diligence processes and transaction structuring
  • Develop term sheets and investment appraisal documents
  • Monitor portfolio performance and compliance
  • Contribute to exit strategy implementation
  • Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration on approved deals
