Investigator Position – City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality

Position Details:
- Job Type: Full Time
- Education: Matric + Law Degree (NQF 7 equivalent)
- Experience: 6-8 years in investigations/customer service
- Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
- Department: Legal Services
- Requirement: Valid driver’s license & personal transport
Core Responsibilities:
- Investigate municipal maladministration cases
- Address human rights violation complaints
- Monitor implementation of corrective actions
- Mentor junior investigation staff
- Conduct public awareness initiatives
- Produce detailed investigation reports
Required Qualifications:
- Grade 12 certification (NQF Level 4)
- Recognized Law degree or equivalent
- Proven track record in dispute resolution
- Strong understanding of municipal operations
