Investigator Position – City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality

Position Details:

  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Education: Matric + Law Degree (NQF 7 equivalent)
  • Experience: 6-8 years in investigations/customer service
  • Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
  • Department: Legal Services
  • Requirement: Valid driver’s license & personal transport

Core Responsibilities:

  • Investigate municipal maladministration cases
  • Address human rights violation complaints
  • Monitor implementation of corrective actions
  • Mentor junior investigation staff
  • Conduct public awareness initiatives
  • Produce detailed investigation reports

Required Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 certification (NQF Level 4)
  • Recognized Law degree or equivalent
  • Proven track record in dispute resolution
  • Strong understanding of municipal operations
