Position Details:

  • Experience Required: 3-5 years in investigations or complaint resolution
  • Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

Position Overview:

Investigate complaints of municipal maladministration and human rights violations, ensuring proper resolution in line with Ombudsman regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience handling investigations
  • Knowledge of local government legislation
  • Strong understanding of public service delivery processes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into service delivery complaints
  • Engage communities to promote awareness of Ombudsman services
  • Prepare detailed investigation reports with recommendations
  • Monitor implementation of corrective actions
  • Address human rights violation allegations
