Inventory Controller and Production Admin

The Inventory Controller and Production Admin will mainly control stock accuracy levels and investigate stock differences in support of the Flavors and Fragrance plants.

The role is based in Johannesburg, South Africa, in an onsite capacity.

Where you will make a difference:

– Investigate any stock differences back to the root cause for all operational areas of the business.
– Monitor stock differences and make the necessary adjustments in SAP.
– Manage the cycle count process, stock checks through interaction with stores, dispatch, manufacturing, and coordinate reconciliation of counts and adjustments in SAP as required.
– Communicate promptly any inventory issue and lead in finding solutions, providing accurate information to all other departments.
– Support the C AND A sample unit with all required warehouse moves for stock issue.
– Supervise and coordinate the cycle counting for all operational departments.
– Provide backup for the receiving stores person.
– Control and monitor COGI errors and transfer orders for all operational departments.
– Perform a vital function during the annual stock-take by assisting in the process from start to finish.
– Coordinate action for inventory SLOB and blocked stock.
– Post and monitor the Spray Dry raw material account.
– Mass balance RSPO calculation tool (Palm oil).
– Action all eliminated and replaced material codes on SAP.
– Monitor and clear all generated system errors on time.
– Be able to generate inventory reports and month-end reporting on SAP.
– Action expired stock shelf-life extensions.
– Assist in maintaining DMA for raw materials and production storage locations.
– Be aware of and apply to the role as required, the requirements of IFF external operational audits (SEDEX, URSA, ISO14001, NSF, LAS, FSSC).
– Perform any other reasonable and lawful duties as required by the company.

What Makes You the Right Fit:

– Preferably a diploma.
– Minimum of 1-2 years inventory control experience.
– Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direct supervision.
