South African National Parks (SANParks)

South African National Parks (SANParks) is one of the world’s leading conservation and scientific research bodies. It plays a key role in protecting the country’s indigenous natural environment.

SANParks manages a system of parks that showcase the nation’s unique wildlife, plants, landscapes, and cultural heritage.

Internship Programme Opportunities

We invite applications from graduates who have completed a Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma (NQF 6/7) at a public higher education institution in South Africa. Selected candidates will be placed at SANParks for one year and receive a monthly stipend of R6,355.69. Please note that SANParks is not obligated to offer employment after the programme ends.

Requirements

To qualify for the Internship Placement Programme, you must:

  • Be an unemployed graduate aged 18 to 35.
  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Have completed a Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma (NQF 6/7) in a relevant field from a South African public higher education institution.
  • Not have been employed before or participated in any internship or placement programme.
  • Reside in the Eastern Cape Province.
