Company Overview:

The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) is a Sector Education and Training Authority (SET) that drives skills development initiatives for South Africa’s mining and minerals sector. We work under the Department of Higher Education and Training and support mine health and safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing Strategic Plans and Annual Performance Reports
• Support coordination of funding policy reviews and grant processes
• Help manage compliance calendar for regulatory reporting
• Contribute to audit preparations for quality management systems
• Provide administrative support to the strategy team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in HR Management, Public Administration, or related field
• Postgraduate qualification (NQF 8) preferred but not required
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Basic understanding of public sector reporting requirements
