Internship: Customer Care Agent

About the Role

The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) Transport Department is offering an internship for a period not exceeding 18 months. The role is based in the Marketing and Communication Branch and focuses on delivering high‑quality customer service.

Location

75 Helen Joseph Street, Old Mutual Building, Johannesburg, Gauteng

Remuneration

R10 109,86 per month (basic salary, no benefits) for candidates who have completed a qualification with a minimum of 360 credits.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (NQF level 4) plus a Diploma in Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration, or an NQF level 6 qualification.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Only residents of the City of Johannesburg will be considered.

Primary Function

Provide efficient and professional customer service that meets customer expectations, resolves issues on first contact, and maintains consistent quality in service delivery.
