About the Role

Join our Student Administration Services team to support academic operations through various administrative functions. This entry-level position offers practical experience in higher education administration.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Records Support:

  • Maintain student records across multiple departments
  • Assist with enrollment processes and student communications
  • Support transcript management and graduation preparations

Operational Assistance:

  • Help create class/exam schedules using PeopleSoft software
  • Support venue bookings and curriculum coordination

Quality Assurance:

  • Verify document accuracy and resolve data discrepancies
  • Participate in compliance monitoring and process improvements

Professional Development:

  • Attend training sessions on academic administration
  • Participate in strategic departmental meetings

Required Qualifications

  • National Diploma/Advanced Certificate (NQF 6) in:
    • Business/Office Administration
    • Public Management
    • Information Systems/Data Management

Preferred Skills

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
