About the Role
Join our Student Administration Services team to support academic operations through various administrative functions. This entry-level position offers practical experience in higher education administration.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Records Support:
- Maintain student records across multiple departments
- Assist with enrollment processes and student communications
- Support transcript management and graduation preparations
Operational Assistance:
- Help create class/exam schedules using PeopleSoft software
- Support venue bookings and curriculum coordination
Quality Assurance:
- Verify document accuracy and resolve data discrepancies
- Participate in compliance monitoring and process improvements
Professional Development:
- Attend training sessions on academic administration
- Participate in strategic departmental meetings
Required Qualifications
- National Diploma/Advanced Certificate (NQF 6) in:
- Business/Office Administration
- Public Management
- Information Systems/Data Management
Preferred Skills
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
