Position Overview
We seek qualified Basic Ambulance Assistants to provide immediate emergency medical care at industrial sites within approved clinical guidelines. Successful candidates must pass physical/medical assessments.
Core Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to site emergency calls
- Deliver patient care within HPCSA scope of practice
- Maintain emergency response readiness
- Document care using patient report forms
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
– BAA Certificate
– Current HPCSA registration
– English proficiency (written/verbal)
Preferred Qualifications:
– 2+ years road BLS experience
– Clinical Practice Guidelines certification
Key Competencies
- Knowledge of EMS protocols and best practices
- Familiarity with local geography and facilities
- Emergency medical equipment proficiency
