Job Purpose

The primary goal of the Indigent Field Services Worker is to provide essential support services to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the Indigent Programme.

Application Requirements

  • Completion of Grade 12
  • Relevant experience in data capturing and administrative tasks
  • Proficiency in computer skills

Primary Functions

  • Conduct door-to-door home visits within assigned wards.
  • Assist with the intake process, including filling out application forms and maintaining the intake register at indigent registration service points.
  • Support skills data collection by completing relevant forms.
  • Participate in public events, meetings, imbizos, and roadshows.
  • Identify and gather information on service delivery needs and challenges facing the City of Tshwane.
  • Provide feedback on identified service delivery challenges to field coordinators for reporting to relevant departments.
