Organization: Judicial Inspectorate for Correctional Services (JICS)
JICS oversees correctional operations and protects incarcerated persons’ rights through parliamentary reporting.

Basic Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12 Certificate
- Computer literacy with accuracy
- Valid community organization nomination (issued within last 6 months)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of Batho Pele principles
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct correctional facility inspections and urgent incident reporting
- Interview inmates and staff regarding complaints
- Manage complaint registration and case file maintenance
- Track complaint resolutions and produce monthly reports
- Analyze complaint statistics and trends
- Respond to public inquiries as needed
