Job Description

The Service Advisor is the main point of contact between customers and service technicians in an automotive dealership. They explain vehicle issues, recommend maintenance, create service orders, estimate costs, and schedule appointments.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and professionally.
• Listen to customer concerns and record vehicle problems accurately.
• Explain recommended maintenance and repair services.
• Prepare and discuss service estimates with customers.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate vehicle drop‑off and pick‑up.
• Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle and any additional services needed.
• Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the service process.

• Work closely with technicians to ensure timely and thorough completion of services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in automotive service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with computer software and electronic service systems.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.
