About the Role:
We are seeking dynamic individuals to assist with administration of employee appointments and compensation processes. This position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate HR records and supporting payroll functions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification
- Basic understanding of HR administrative processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to HR management systems (e.g., PERSAL)
- Familiarity with public service regulations
- Experience with employee contract administration
Key Responsibilities:
- Process staff appointments and contract renewals
- Manage acting allowance administration
- Maintain accurate employee records
- Prepare employment contracts and appointment letters
- Conduct personnel suitability checks
- Update and maintain electronic HR databases
Required Competencies:
- Working knowledge of relevant labor legislation
- Strong data management skills
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
