About NSFAS:
A public entity supporting South African students through bursaries for higher education at 26 universities and 50 TVET colleges.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic HR support to business units across employee lifecycle management
- Facilitate recruitment processes from vacancy identification to onboarding
- Implement performance management systems and staff development programs
- Maintain compliance with labor legislation and HR best practices
- Manage employee relations including conflict resolution and disciplinary processes
- Analyze HR metrics to support data-driven decision making
- Coordinate training initiatives aligned with organizational needs
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management/Industrial Psychology (NQF7)
- 5-7 years’ HR generalist experience
- Thorough knowledge of South African labor laws
- Proven experience in recruitment and talent management
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Honors degree (NQF8) in relevant field
- 8+ years’ HR experience
- Public sector experience
- Knowledge of NSFAS Act and PFMA
