Job Description

JOB PURPOSE AND DIMENSION:To provide continuous assistance to the managers and employees of the company with respect to HR Policies and Procedures including employee relations, engagement, recruitment, benefits, legislation, and wellness programs. Ensure that all employee files and other legislative aspects are beyond reproach. As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records, managing employee data, and supporting HR processes. You will collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations while providing excellent service to employees regarding HR-related inquiries. The position will require the ability to work under pressure to meet specific deadlines and to smoothly and efficiently deal with numerous issues. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to deal, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.The successful candidate must deal with confidential information with utmost discretion and meet high standards of integrity.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:Duties include but will not be limited to:RecruitmentAssist in the recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.Coordinate new hire onboarding.Ensure full adherence to all legislative requirements for recordkeeping related to recruitment-for both successful and unsuccessful candidates.Industrial RelationsAssist with disciplinary and appeal hearings and grievances in line with the Sea Harvest Disciplinary Code and Procedure.Ensure incident reports, applications to appeal and grievance documentation are all completed in line with procedures.Update an submit IR report Monthly.HR AdministrationGeneral HR reports and handle general HR enquiries.Ensure all information is filed and captures onto SAGE 300 system. Ensure all filling is up to date.Assist with UIF application processes.Assist with EWP awareness programs.Complete documentation for purposes of capturing employee movements within the business.Assist  with the implementation of the temporary disability process, by ensuring relevant documentations are compiled for submission.Support the HR Manager in the implementation of HR initiatives.Maintain the database for the Skills Development and Training information.Track probationary reviews with employees are done on time and correctly.Follow all COIDA cases from submission to completion and keep records.Assist with EE, Skills Development and BBBEE statutory compliance.Assist HR with scheduling meetings and venues.Take and compile minutes.QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:ND in Human Resource Management / an industry-related field and/or Human Sciences DegreeSAGE 300 knowledge advantageousAt least 2-5 years proven work experience in a related roleSound knowledge of general administrative processesSound knowledge of HR principles, processes, and proceduresSKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES:Basic understanding of organizational business processes and proceduresGood knowledge of relevant organizational policiesExcellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.Excellent conflict management skillsStrong phone, email and in-person communication skillsStrong computer literacyDetail orientated, proactive, pressure resilient, independent and multitask focused.Assertive as well as Customer CentricInterested parties who meet the above requirements and possess the attributes stated, may submit an application form, comprehensive CV, along with certified copies of their ID’s and qualification/s.
