Job Description

We are looking for Household Aids to join our team. You will help keep our health facility clean and support daily housekeeping tasks.

• Have experience in cleaning or household work in a health facility.
• Know the basics of cleaning equipment. Support the housekeeping supervisor and follow cleaning policies.
• Understand how to manage stock, assets, linen, and equipment.
• Have basic math and reading skills.
• Provide cleaning services like dusting, washing, scrubbing, polishing, and removing refuse. Follow safety rules and infection control measures.
• Assist the supervisor with tasks such as managing cleaning equipment, handling linen, and serving meals to patients.
• Be willing to work shifts, including nights, weekends, overtime, and public holidays. Be able to do physical work and use heavy cleaning equipment. Be ready to rotate to different wards as needed.

Salary: R 138 486 – R 163 131 per year, plus benefits like a 13th cheque, pension fund contribution, housing allowance, and medical aid allowance.
