Job Title: Hospital Case Manager

Purpose of the Position
As a Case Manager, you will support patients by advocating for their needs, making the best use of healthcare resources, and helping achieve better health outcomes. Your skills will help improve processes, increase patient satisfaction, and strengthen the overall healthcare system at Joint Medical Holdings.
Key Performance Areas
- Follow JMH policies for clinical updates, meeting all turnaround times and service level agreements.
- Ensure accurate and complete ICD-10 and CCSA coding.
- Meet all month-end deadlines.
- Check that billing is correct and complete.
- Share clear and relevant information with medical schemes.
- Manage internal debt and use available tools effectively.
- Implement and ensure compliance with Care Risk Management Procedures and Protocols.
- Resolve case management rejections efficiently.
- Create a positive work environment that supports teamwork, open communication, and professional development.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in case management to meet all standards.
Minimum Requirements
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant nursing qualification with registration from the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Computer literacy is essential.
- Billing or auditing experience is an advantage.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary hospital setting.
- ICD-10 and CCSA coding experience is required.
