Position Details

Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership:
- Implement National Senior Certificate-aligned instructional programs
- Analyze student performance data to guide teaching strategies
- Coordinate matric exam preparation and academic support programs
Teaching & Coaching:
- Deliver Life Science instruction for Grades 10-12
- Conduct teacher observations and professional development sessions
- Mentor educators on classroom management and engagement techniques
Student Development:
- Create individualized learning plans for at-risk students
- Promote self-directed learning and academic responsibility
- Integrate technology in blended learning environments
Requirements
- B.Ed or PGCE qualification (SP & FET phases)
- Valid SACE registration
- 3-4 years Senior/FET phase teaching experience
- Proven leadership experience in school settings
- Expertise in CAPS curriculum for Life Sciences
- Clear criminal record
