Job Summary

  • Drive a heavy vehicle (up to 16,000 kg) to transport goods to specified destinations.
  • Ensure safe and efficient delivery of products.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) qualification
  • Valid Code 10 driver’s license
  • Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
  • 3 years of relevant driving experience
  • Reliable transport to and from work
  • Medically fit for duty
  • Clear criminal record

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare the vehicle for trips
  • Load and offload goods
  • Operate heavy-duty vehicles safely
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Manage delivery documentation
  • Work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
  • Account for all transported goods
  • Ensure vehicle roadworthiness
  • Follow supervisor instructions
  • Maintain a safe driving record
