Job Title: Health Clinic Manager

Position Purpose
The Health Clinic Manager will oversee and manage the delivery of comprehensive primary healthcare services, implement quality improvement programs, and ensure excellent patient care in a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise healthcare staff to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
- Coordinate clinical, educational, and research activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Manage resources, budgets, and staffing to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Monitor patient registration and support monitoring and evaluation processes.
- Supervise nurses and facilitate student nurse training and performance evaluations.
- Analyze health data, including program indicators, and report findings.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, professional ethics, and legal requirements.
- Prepare monthly and provincial reports for management.
- Participate in policy development and ensure stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee the implementation of Batho Pele Principles and patient rights.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 7-10 years of experience in nursing management, preferably in community health.
- Diploma or Degree in General Nursing (Community Health, Psychiatry, and Midwifery).
- Degree in Nursing Administration, Management, or Education is mandatory.
- Diploma in Primary Health Care Nursing is required.
- Dispensing Licence is mandatory.
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a General Nurse, Nurse Educator, or Community Health Nurse.
- Masters in Community Public Health is an advantage.
- Knowledge of PHC policies, legislation, and computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
- Valid Code 8 driver’s license.
