Requirements

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree, BTech, or Advanced Diploma (preferably in Finance).
  • MFMA Municipal Minimum Competency is required and will be an advantage. If not held, the successful candidate must obtain it within 18 months of appointment.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in a Revenue or Debtor environment, including at least 5 years in a senior position managing staff.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, by-laws, policies, and procedures in the Revenue and Finance environment.
  • Deep understanding of Local Government processes for billing and collecting municipal account payments.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Presentation and report writing skills.
  • A valid EB, B, or C driver’s license.
