Key Requirements

  • Academic: Honors degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field
  • Certifications: CFA/CA/FRM/PRM preferred
  • Management: 5+ years senior leadership experience
  • Technical Skills: Portfolio management, risk analysis, strategic asset allocation
  • Compliance: FAIS regulatory exams (RE1, RE3, RE5)

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Drive outperformance across equity, fixed income, and property portfolios
  • Lead team of investment professionals and analysts
  • Develop ESG-integrated investment strategies
  • Oversee R1.9 trillion asset allocation framework
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with clients and regulators
  • Implement innovative portfolio construction approaches

Preferred Qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree (MBA/MCom/MSc)
  • Engineering background with financial expertise
  • Proven track record in institutional investing
