Position Summary

Experience: 10+ years in auditing (3 years senior management)
Qualifications: Matric + Honors Degree in Auditing (NQF 8)
Professional Requirement: Chartered Accountant (SA) registration
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute audit strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Establish quality standards and performance metrics for audit operations
- Lead risk assessment and mitigation planning
Audit Management
- Oversee end-to-end audit processes across all organizational divisions
- Present findings to executive leadership and regulatory committees
- Ensure compliance with Treasury Regulations and IPPF standards
Team Leadership
- Manage 15+ member audit team
- Implement staff development and succession planning programs
- Promote a culture of integrity and professional excellence
Financial Oversight
- Manage departmental budget up to R20 million
- Optimize resource allocation for audit operations
- Implement cost-control measures across audit activities
Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership in large-scale audit environments
- Expertise in PFMA, PPPFA, and King IV compliance
- Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Excellent report-writing and presentation skills
