Job Purpose

The role involves general building maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks, including basic carpentry and plumbing. The position also requires driving and maintaining three buildings in Johannesburg.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair all three Johannesburg buildings
  • Assist with moving office furniture
  • Perform general plumbing tasks
  • Maintain office furniture
  • Repair broken equipment and appliances
  • Painting tasks
  • Maintain gutters and drains
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair building fixtures and fittings
  • Perform carpentry tasks such as hanging doors and assembling furniture
  • Identify and address safety hazards
  • Complete tasks within specified time frames
  • Inspect and repair garden structures
  • Collect and deliver documents
  • Drive as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Handyman
  • Skills in DIY, maintenance, and gardening
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Good communication skills
  • Plumbing qualifications
